Cecil Waatti

Born and raised in Montana’s Flathead Valley, Cecil Waatti discovered his passion for real estate while attending college in 2012, starting his career as an office and listing assistant at Grubb & Ellis. Early hands-on experience in the industry confirmed that real estate would be his long-term professional pursuit.

In 2014, Cecil earned his real estate license and co-founded Landstar Group with his father, Matt Waatti. The firm experienced steady growth, and in 2022, they acquired the Coldwell Banker franchise, rebranding the company under its new name, which Cecil continues to own and operate. Over his career, he has facilitated over $500 million in real estate transactions. Alongside the brokerage, Cecil and Matt also run Landstar Development, focusing on real estate development projects.

Cooper Barrett took an unconventional path into real estate brokerage — one that involved building a portfolio to manage, not sell. A Bigfork native and Montana State University graduate, he launched his career in property management after earning his Business Finance degree in 2020, assembling a portfolio that he later merged with Landstar Property Management in 2024, which was subsequently acquired by Select Property Management in 2026.
